We also have a hard time if we are around my family. You know how there are always family photos with someone's best friend, so we got Jon's best friend in this shot, just so he would feel welcome!

People constantly ask me how I always manage to get great group shots of my family, and I try to explain that for every great picture, there are about 25 not so great pictures. Hence the reason I take my camera everywhere, and take pictures of everything. This is one of many not so great pictures. Almost identical to this, me trying to scare someone into smiling, Jon disciplining, Cooper being goofy, and Andy usually is too, I can't believe he is smiling normally for once, Chloe with the lip gloss is all new thanks to her being almost 12. So I thought you would all get a kick out of it for our photo this week! This was on Thanksgiving in my mom's backyard.

Better late than never...

The girls anxiously awaiting the start of "Twilight." Friday night we had a girl's night out. Me, my mom, Chloe, Bella, Buffy and Cami. We headed to Az Center for dinner at Mi Amigo's, then went int o see the movie. Cami had already seen it, so she sat by Buffy to warn her when there were scary parts. Mom moved to sit by Bella after a terrifying trailer for some Exorcism horror movie. The movie was great, we all had a good time.

Saturday night was Jon's office party (don't we look like we are posed for a homecoming picture, you can totally I worked for Duke for a billion years!). We were in charge of the game this year, so we spent the day shopping for giftcards, and presents. We were positive we were going to end up with the singing Snowman, or the kids play shaving set. Somehow we got lucky, and no one picked the gift with the Ipod Shuffle in it, so I am so stoked, because that is exactly what my middle child red head wants. Yahoo, one less thing I have to buy!

Jon took yesterday off, and took Chloe & Andy to my uncle's dental office in Eloy. Can I just say how much I love my uncle, he totally rocks! The dentist I took Andy to last week told us everything he wanted to do, and it was to a tune of about $1500. I almost died on the spot. My uncle did it yesterday for $130. He just gave us Christmas back. Andy had to have 2 teeth pulled, but he is a trooper.

I got my tree up and decorated yesterday, and most of my mantle done. Still have a ton more to do, but so happy to have a head start. I am loving the weather today, and so thankful to have my washer & dryer in the house. I hated trudging through the muddy backyard to switch laundry.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving tomorrow, so excited to see my family. I love having a day to think about all I am thankful for. Hopefully I will be back on again, but who knows what this weekend will bring!

Oh I totally forgot, Chloe woke up, came into the room and announced "One week from today I will be at my first mutual." Can you tell she is excited about turning 12 on Monday?

I shall doubt no more...

He is Edward, and I am in awe...

I wasn't sure, until I saw the film. There is no doubt in my mind now.

Great movie, so much fun listening to the girls (Chloe, Bella & Buffy) ooh, and ahh. Loved watching Buffy cover her eyes, but still peek during the kissing scene. I just wish it had been longer. Can't wait to see it again! Now I am off to dreamland, and can only hope he visits, not Senator McCain!

So Funny!

A man in Jacksonville calls his son in San Diego two days before Thanksgiving and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing. Forty-five years of misery is enough.

"Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.

We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Denver and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this,"

She calls Jacksonville immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says, "the kids coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way."

Cutest girl ever!!!

How can you not adore this girl? The bottom picture totally confirms my doubts about her ears. I'm gonna have to start taping them I think!

Date Night

Last Friday night Chloe & Andy had a sleepover at the Zoo for school. So Jon and I did date night with the other 3. We headed to Nordstrom's Cafe for dinner, went and let Buffy buy some earrings at Claire's, played in the Kid Zone, got an ice cream from Baskin Robbins, then headed home to pull out the sofa bed, and watch a movie. Cooper made me write it on my calendar, so I would have to let them sleep on the sofa bed. They love it. I love that something so simple, makes them so happy!

I just had to post this!

Reason to be HAPPY!

It only cost me $54.19 to fill my car up today. I was giddy with excitement!!!

Sweet baby girl

3 Generations

I should have gotten a before the party picture,
we're looking a little sluggish. I should have taken
a picture of Andy's pants!

Let's get Physical

Kick those legs!

Squeeze those buns!

Gotta love baby leg warmers!

Help me decide...

I need a new look, so I need your help. Which one do you like the best?

Things I love...

about being a mom...

I get to say things like:

Cooper, pull your pants up, and

Take that off your sister's head, and

I'm gonna count to three, etc...

I get unlimited amounts of snuggle time.

I have little hands that are always wanting to help me.

I have sweet little voices that are always telling me funny things.

I get to tuck my babes in tight at night.

I have 5 children who would love for me to sing them to sleep every night.

We have Pushing Daisies night while dad is at mutual.

I get to see there minds at work.

I observe their desire to do what is right.

But mostly I get to feel immense pride in my ability to produce such beautiful, kind, perfect human beings. I did this, 5 times. I am constantly amazed with myself.

I can't believe...

That this...

Turned into this...

Things I love...

Driving down 7th Avenue around 9:00 p.m. on a weeknight, and passing a car full of Drag Queens. And you people wonder why I don't want to leave Phoenix!

Disneyland (celebrity edition)

We happened to be there while they were filming the Christmas Spectacular. Jon was a great dad, and stood in line with the girls to get into the roped off area of the Jonas Brothers concert. The girls had a blast. I think Chloe took about 200 pictures. Jon got it all on video, it was pretty cool. We also saw Ryan Seacrest, and Dennis Quaid. It was pretty cool!

P.S. For a lot more pictures, check it out over here.

We had so much fun, I am so sad to be back. I instantly regretted walking out on our last night and not upgrading to an annual pass. Next year for sure! The kids were great, the 1st day was a little hard, especially for Macy, but we got the hang of it pretty quickly, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. It was so fun being there with my brothers & sister. I really missed my mom and Katrina though, and as always was completely missing my dad. Disneyland was his place. It was a great trip though, one I will remember always!

Macy and I after a nice little lunch for her in New Orleans Square,
everyone else was going on Splash Mountain...

I can't believe how she is chunking up! The drive to and from Disneyland did not agree with this girl. She was either sleeping, or screaming. Most of the trip she was in my lap or nursing, I was praying constantly that we didn't get in a wreck! The 1st day at Disneyland she was miserable, and Jon took her home for a few hours in the day. The next 2 days she had a complete turnaround, and was an angel! She also slept through the night, every night! That was a huge help. I was glad for her, when we rolled into our hood last night. Things can finally get back to normal. Oh, can I just say the the Hooter Hider is my best friend. I think I nursed 800 times while we were there, and it was just fine. Even in Pirates of the Caribbean!

Coop turns 5

Yes that is a lollipop in his mouth at 7:00 in the morning,
it's the day after Halloween, don't judge me!

A fun, easy party at Chuck E Cheese.
No clean up, hooray!
Mike & Liz made it even better!!!

I Did, did U?

Against all odds, I was able to vote. I was up half the night with the babe. I have a sick Buffy. I have Cooper's celebration of life today. I haven't packed a thing yet. My house is still torn apart, in search of the missing camera. I had to get up super early to shower and get the kids to school. I had to stand in line while worrying about Macy screaming for Jimmy. And the list goes on...

Yet I still voted. Get out there people!!!

We leave for Disneyland in 2 days. My camera is missing. I am sick to my stomach. I really don't want to have to carry my big camera around everyday. I am tearing my house apart, and I have laid the biggest guilt trip on my children (the ones who lost it). What am I going to do? The worst thing is I can't even borrow somebody's, because my siblings are going with us, so they need it! I pray that I find it...
