She's here!!!

Don't I look fabulous?

She's tanorexic...

Do you think he is excited???

Her chubbiness...

I don't think she would be smiling
if she knew what she was headed home to...

So it finally happened. Saturday I went in at about 4:15, and I wasn't in labor, but my doctor told me to go anyways. It was a panicky situation, but they didn't send me home. We were up in a room by 7:45 that night. They gelled me twice, it kicked me into labor. By 1:30 I was needing drugs. I got the epidural, things slowed down. At about 4 they started potocin, they woke me up at 6:30 and it was time. I was done by about 7:15 Sunday morning.

She is such a good baby. We had to stay int he hospital because she had jaundice. Yesterday was a very hard day for me, she had to sit in that little tanning bed, with her eyes covered for 24 hours. I could only pull her out for 15 - 20 minutes every 3 - 4 hours. I am so glad that is over!

We got home tonite around 6:30 or so. The kids were giddy with excitement. I am pooped, and I am hurting more than I should be. So here's to hoping for a speedier recovery.

I should get back into the groove of things soon, but I just had to update everyone. Sorry it took so long!

P.S. 9 pounds 6.3 ounces, 20 1/2 inches Quite the girl...
And she looks exactly like Cooper did, exactly!!!

Congratulations Kristy! I think she looks like all of your other kids rolled into one. I would tell you that she already looks like she is four months old, but that might get you thinking about #6!!

YEAH CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

She is beautiful, so darling. Love her smile and awesome red hair. She fits perfectly into your family. I love her name too- very sassy and cute. Just like you mama! ;-) In a cool way- you know what I mean.

When can I come meet her and bring you treats? I will give you a call to arrange. Be honest and tell me if you need some space and how long before I barge in.

I was thinking at first glance that she looked like chloe, but then saw some cooper too.

niec job mama- she's a cute little bundle. And holy cow on the over 9pounds. I hope your tail bone isn't going to be sore like mine was. I stayed on motrin for about 2 weeks straight and that helped a ton.

Hooray, I am so glad things went well. She is a big girl, but such a cutie pie. The kids will probably never leave her alone. I love the name also. Take care.

I hope you've already given her the talk about not goosing adults (however charming they are).

Congratulations!
